My statement is in line with Stephen:

Could or should we state: “Patients should receive maintenance treatment as part of reference arm when platinum is an option”

The definition for the choice of maintenance treatment is difficult, as the timepoint of inclusion/randomization is important, because

if we randomize patients before start of chemo we can only stratify for type of prior maintenance treatment, recurrence during maintenance treatment, BRCA status, …

if we randomize patients at the end of chemo we can also stratify additionally for response to platinum containing chemotherapy
